Multimedia Know-how (MMT) has struck an Australian distribution settlement with Canadian cyber safety vendor D3 Safety to convey a safety orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) product into the nation.
By the deal, MMT will convey D3’s XGEN SOAR platform to Australia, which gives instruments and integrations for safety automation, incident response, menace looking and safety operations centre (SOC) optimisation.
“SOAR brings an incredible quantity of worth to the safety stack and addresses so many ache factors felt by immediately’s SOCs,” stated Carey Hassall, MMT’s strategic partnership supervisor.
“D3 is targeted purely on SOAR and has the perfect platform out there, with codeless drag-and-drop playbooks and over 500+ product integrations.”
Mark Eichler, head of MMT’s buying division, agreed with Hassall’s sentiments, saying it fills a much less focused-on spot within the distributor’s vendor portfolio.
“Though cyber safety hasn’t historically been a spotlight of ours, we recognise the rising progress and demand,” he stated.
“We’re now ready the place we’ve bought the proper infrastructure and technical information to increase this providing while sustaining the standard service we’re recognized to persistently ship.”

Stephen Cunningham, D3’s government director of channel, added MMT’s reseller community and its lack of alignment to competing SOAR distributors made it the “ultimate” distribution associate.
“D3 solely makes SOAR, and our platform is designed to combine the options of all distributors right into a single pane of glass,” he stated.
